(As of April 2009)

1.  BOARD OF GOVERNORS

The league is governed by a five (5) member Board of Governors comprised of President, Vice President, Treasurer, and at least two (2) members at large. Elections shall take place at the annual meeting held before league play has started. The Board of Governors will serve as a rules and arbitration committee. Complaints about league operations should be presented in written form before being considered by the Board.

3.  FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Each team is financially responsible for all greens fees ($240.00) and league dues ($40.00) per player of the team. Greens fees are due no later than the first week of play. League dues are due no later than the second week of play in May. No refund for greens fees or league dues after the second week of play.
4.  NUMBER OF TEAMS

The number of teams in the league shall be determined by the first night of league play or the deadline established at the annual meeting held before league play has started. If there is an odd number of teams in the league, each team will take turns playing as a twosome for the evening and they will draw a number after the round to determine their opponents for the night. The chosen opponents handicap and scores will be entered as a ghost team. Only the twosome will score points in the match.
5.  LEAGUE STRENGTH

Regular substitutes or new members will be used to maintain full league strength should one or more members drop from the league.
6.  LEAGUE PLAY

League pairings are scheduled for Wednesday with tee-off times assigned prior to the beginning of league play. The league will play from the white tees. The first tee time will be 4:15 pm. A player failing to arrive by their tee time will be ruled as a missing player (see rule 10). A team waiting for an opponent may allow a complete foursome scheduled to tee off behind them to move up while they wait. This is an option and the wait can not exceed our final tee time for the night.
7.  SEASON

The season will start on Wednesday, April 22 and conclude after 25 weeks of play. The first Wednesday in September will be the night for the league banquet.
8.  HANDICAP

All league rounds will be played on a handicap basis. Handicap will be determined by computer. The league will not have a maximum of strokes allowed per hole. Record your final score on your scorecard. Pick-up only after you have exceeded a score that will score any points for the hole. The league handicap system will only allow a maximum of nine (9) strokes per hole. The league will use a handicap percent figure based on 90%. The last five (5) scores will be used for handicapping. Four (4) of the last five (5) scores will be selected with the one (1) highest score being discarded.
9.  LEAGUE MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS

All league members must be male and twenty-one (21) years of age.
10. MISSING PLAYER

If one member of a team shall fail to appear by the scheduled tee-off time or the agreed tee-off time, the pairing is to proceed. A "no show" exists only when a pairing is played with less than four (4) players and the missing player never arrives to play their round. Failure of a substitute to show up is the responsibility of the league member. A "No Show" will post a score according to their handicap plus five (5) strokes. The correct number of strokes will be distributed across the nine (9) holes to achieve the handicap plus five (5) strokes. If a league member arrives late and joins the pairing in progress, each hole prior to tee-off with their pairing is scored according to the handicap plus five (5) strokes method of scoring. Any score posted as a "no show" or "late arrival" will not be used for handicap calculations. The league member may not pair up with a later tee-off time. A substitute playing for a league member is not a "no show". A "no show" list will be posted with the league standings in the white bucket found on the first tee each league night. A player which accumulates three (3) "no shows" over the course of the year may be replaced by the team member in good standing and forfeit their green fees for the remainder of the league season.
11. FRONT AND BACK NINES

League play will be scheduled on alternate nines for each match, course conditions permitting. Teams must play the nine holes designated on their cards. Switching sides without League authorization will result in a forfeit of scores.
12. RULES DISPUTES

The Board of Governors will make judgment on disputed play (prior to submitting score card). Three (3) officers shall constitute a quorum.
13. SCORING AND STANDINGS

League standings will be determined by the number of points earned by a team. Each match will play for a total of forty-six (46) points. Two (2) points will be won by each team member winning each hole (match play including handicap). Four (4) points shall be won by the team member having fewer strokes for the round than his opponent (medal play including handicap). Two (2) points will be awarded the team with fewer total strokes than their opponents including handicap. Ties will share the points for hole and matches.
At the conclusion of the season, the first place teams from each half will meet in a nine (9) hole match to determine the league champion. If a team wins 1st place in both halves, they win first place without a play-off.
Also, the top three teams with the highest total points for the entire season will also be honored.
Subs are not allowed to play in the championship match. If necessary the match can be rescheduled if both teams agree.
14. RAIN OUTS

Golf Course Management and three (3) members of the Board of Governors will determine if league play is canceled due to rain out. If tee times are delayed more than thirty (30) minutes because of rain, the course will consider our league rained out for that night. No rain checks will be issued. Official rain outs will cancel all scores for the day. Everyone in the league plays under the same rule for the night. If the golf course does not close in a rain situation during a league night and you choose not to play or continue your play, your score will be calculated according to the missing player rule (see rule 10.) for the holes that were not completed.
A decision will be made by 4:00 pm if the league may be rained out for the night. Call the Golf Course or a Board member for the official ruling, or try dialing 888 558-0782 then press 1.
In the case of lightning during league round, when the course sounds the alarm all play is stopped and the round is canceled for the night. The round is made up by having the scores recorded twice the next time the same side is played, once against your opponents for the night and once for the opponents when the round was canceled.
15. GROUND RULES

All matches will be played under Course Ground Rules. Preferred lies, bumping, tickling of no more than six inched will be allowed on fairways and any playable rough. No improvements are allowed from a hazard. Check for drop areas on certain holes. Out of bounds shots are played at a ninety (90) degree two (2) club length drop from where the ball went out of bounds (3 minute time limits for lost balls) and it will cost a stroke. Otherwise USGA rules will apply. Always come to an agreement with your opponent before continuing play.
16. SUBSTITUTES

Two substitutes may be used per team in league play. If the substitute has not established a USGA or league handicap, they will be handicapped at sixty-six percent (66%) of their score for the round.
17. SCORECARD

Official scorecards will be made out beforehand. These may be picked up at the desk or on the first tee after all four members have arrived for their round of golf. Only these scorecards will be accepted as the legitimate and official scores. At the conclusion of the match, each team score shall be determined and attested by at least one member on each team. A team which accumulates two (2) forfeits (both team members not showing up on a night) over the course of the year will be excluded from the league.
18. NON LEAGUE EVENTS

League members may participate in other events which may come up during the course of the year, but the cost will be above and beyond league dues.
